Light box simple production method


1, production: the use of acrylic board, plastic board, or other insulating materials, I use black 2.5mm double-layer aluminum-plastic board when most. The word to be done is first carved with single-sided adhesive paper, affixed to the aluminum plastic board with a good size, and the hole is punched out with an electric drill or engraving machine (the spacing is based on the size of the word, the general distance is 10-15mm), and the size and diameter of the hole can not be too large. With F5 spotlight to do the word is the hole distance is better than 15mm, the reason why everyone will know. If the 546 oval lamp is used, the hole distance can be controlled between 20-10mm, and the closer the distance, the better the effect.


2, series connection: the LED + -, + -,...... + - and + - are welded in series to produce A positive electrode (marked A+) and a negative electrode (marked K-). The connection of the lamp legs needs to be welded with tin, or it can be screwed together and then welded. Always remember: Make sure you weld. Because the LED leg is iron-plated silver, once the current passes through the moisture will quickly rust, will cause hidden dangers to the light box, will also bring no small trouble to the after-sales. There are many conjoined lamps now
The use of conjoined lamps can save a lot of time to improve production efficiency, but with only 20 lamps per row, welding is unavoidable.
Note: LED long pin is "+" (positive) pole, short pin is "-" (negative) pole.


3, grouping (string): according to not more than the maximum number of light emitting diodes of various colors in the schedule can be connected in series, such as each string of red LED should not be more than 120. The reason is very simple, the output of the controller is about 210V DC, the working voltage of the red light is about 2V, that is, every LED light will be reduced by 2V, if the number of leds is too much, then the output voltage of the controller can not reach the voltage required for the normal operation of the lamp string, the lamp string will not be bright, or the brightness is too low.


Note: It is not recommended to add "*" in the schedule. When the number of series LED is close to or exceeds the number with "*", it is easy to cause circuit instability. It should be divided into two or more strings for parallel connection as a group.


4, string into the resistance: according to the number of the schedule will be the appropriate amount of resistance into each series of LED, resistance without positive and negative points, and can be strung in the series of light emitting tube between any two light emitting tubes. Save time and effort by strapping wires where wire connections are needed.


Note: Due to the different batch and model of the product, the specific number and string resistance value depends on the working current, the above parameters are for reference only.


The current of each branch of the light-emitting diode is best adjusted at 19ma±1ma, and the resistance is 1k/2w, such as 5k, which can be connected with 5 resistance values of 1 thousand ohms and power of 2W.


5. Connect the controller: connect the positive electrode of each series of LED to the positive electrode (red line) end of the controller, and the negative electrode of each group of light emitting tubes to the negative electrode (green line) control end of the controller. The three yellow lines are the output lines of the water side lights, respectively connected to the negative poles of the three groups of side lights. The three positive poles of the side lamp are welded together with the positive poles of the main character. Generally, the controller has a straight bright output line. In the case of no steady on requirements, the steady on output line of the light box should be cut or glued with a glue stick to prevent damage to the controller by breaking with the positive pole.


6, debugging: the connection is correct, it will light up after power, simple method of measuring current, use a multimeter DC voltage file, measure the voltage on one of the 1K/2W resistors at about 15-20V(preferably less than 18V), and then add a resistance beyond 20V and then measure until normal.


In order to facilitate the debugging measurement, the controller pattern can be set in the debugging state and the long delay interval state, and the controller output is a large proportion of long on and short off state. Now the controller has a bright output and a constant current to help accurately measure the voltage of the resistance.


7, maintenance: if it is not bright, use the multimeter DC 250V file, the black watch pen is connected to the green line, the red watch pen is connected to the red line, if the indicator beats or in 200-220V, it indicates that the controller is normal; The black watch pen does not move, the red watch pen measures the voltage at both ends of each led in turn, if the voltage difference between the two feet of a LED is very large or no voltage, indicating that the LED is damaged, replace and try again.


8, the assembly of the light box: I introduce is a cheap method, with aluminum profile is beautiful but the cost is higher I did not use. Materials :2*.mm wood keel and 2.*mm aluminum Angle (90°), these materials are generally available in the decorative materials market. I don't need to go into details about how to make it,


9, ideas: There are often new customers ask why the green and blue lights are easy to break, in fact, most of the reasons are not the quality of the lamp, but the novice welding technology has not fully mastered, welding is not smooth, time is too long and caused by the damage of LED lights, which needs to improve welding technology and speed to avoid. There is also the reason for static electricity, green and blue lights are afraid of static electricity, our body and soldering iron have static electricity, so you need to take anti-static wrist (I am free to customers), conditional can use anti-static soldering iron. Then there is the reason why the quality of the selected LED lights is too low.
