Answers to light box questions

2024-10-11

The following are some common problems and solutions for advertising light boxes, so that you can handle problems more professionally and skillfully when dealing with customers. You can become a "battle-hardened" advertising person in one fell swoop!

Q: Customers reported that a set of luminous characters of a certain brand, about a month after installation, used a 3-lamp LED patch waterproof module, and the luminous characters showed serious color change and dead lights. The abnormal module lightly pressed the yellow encapsulation colloid of the lamp bead with your hand, and the light came on, and the colloid softened and bulged.

A: This is a typical LED module lamp bead affected by a certain substance. 99% of the time, the acidic substances in the installation glass glue change the molecular structure of the LED encapsulation glue (colloid) and soften, causing the color temperature to drift upward and the luminous color to turn blue. More seriously, the conductive gold wire in the lamp bead will be pulled apart by the expansion and compression of the colloid, causing the LED to fail and not light up. For products that use glass glue to fix LEDs, it is recommended to let the glass glue cure naturally in a fully ventilated environment for more than 24 hours (to ensure that the glass glue is dry) after gluing, and then seal the character shell. This must be noted when making mini characters and resin characters.

Q: Some customers often report that the font has shadows or abnormal luminescence after a few days of module installation and use. Or after a period of time after the S-shaped soft strip is installed, feedback is given that the LED lamp beads have inconsistent luminous colors.

A: Most of these are not product problems. Some customers cover the surface of the lamp beads or the surface of the light strip with transparent glass glue or other foreign objects during the installation process, resulting in poor heat dissipation of the lamp beads, causing the lamp beads to fail or have problems. Once again, please do not cover the surface of the lamp beads with foreign objects or glue.

Q: A customer reported that there are 2 door head light boxes of the same size, both of which use waterproof strips. The customer does not understand why one light box has normal brightness after installation, while the other light box has overall dim brightness, even though the two light boxes have the same production process and the same light strip.

A: This problem requires on-site inspection of the light strip to see if it is the same color temperature and the same model of light source. If there is no problem with the light source, then check the transformer and the number of transformers provided by the customer.

Assuming that the total power of the light source is 3200W, and the customer only equipped 8 400W power supplies to save trouble, then first of all: the full use of the transformer does not meet the operating requirements. The standard is to use 80% of the rated power of the transformer. 8 400W power supplies can only carry 2560W light sources.
